Eric Meyer on IE7

December 5th, 2005 by Jeff Louella

IE7 is in development and Eric Meyer is talking about some of the new features that are going to be available in it. A quick list of items are:

  • abbr
  • css2.1 selector support
  • css2.1 fixing
  • :hover on all elements
  • background-attachment: fixed on all elements
  • PNG alpha channel support

Eric also believes that most hack that were used to make IE work, will not affect IE7. IE7 will just ignore them. This is a good thing.

More to come.
